Once submission is complete you will see the confirmation page 

and receive an emailed 15 day temporary trail pass.



Club

Please TAD Type

Review the map and find the club you wish to join, 100% of the club fee (includes membership) goes directly to the club. Joining any club and purchasing your Trail Access Decal will allow you to legally ride all VASA trails. Using the map for reference, select the club from the drop down. Club memberships dues are a major source of funding for trail development, maintenance and signage for local clubs. The standard fee is set by a club representative vote held annually at VASA Board of Directors fall meetings. The 2024 standard Club fee is $30.00.  You will have an opportunity on your application to add an additional donation to your club.


*VASA Trail Access Decals are non-refundable. The goal of VASA is to provide a trail network that is varied in challenge and experiences, but we are also not free from Mother Nature and other events that may limit access or even close trails. Weather can change rapidly, and all networks are monitored for their safe passage. There is again a no refund with the TAD program even if a network of trails closes, regardless of reason.

Limited Liability Statement

As a member of an ATV club, I the undersigned, owner of the ATV described above, declare that I am liable for the use of a trail in conformance with the ATV laws and rules of the State of Vermont. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I declare that I am well aware of the risks related to the presence of tree branches, stones and soil on the trail as well as the risks related to the maintenance and signing of a trail. I consequently declare that I deny my own recourse to any damage, be it of any kind, that could happen to me in the use of a trail.

I also pledge that I will inform any person to whom I would lend or rent the ATV that I own, of the risks above mentioned and will advise them that the association, the club or the owner of the trail do not assume any responsibility for the damages they could undergo while using a trail.

Liability Insurance

Liability insurance is required by state statute to ride VASA trails. 


"A minimum of bond or a liability policy in the amounts of at least $25,000.00 for one individual and $50,000.00 for two

or more individuals killed or injured and $10,000.00 for damages to property in any one accident."


Proof of insurance must be cared with your machine.

Helmet Requirements

Per Vermont statue and our agreements with Local and State agencies governing shared road use for trail connectors helmets are required while operating an ATV.

To obtain a TAD you must show clear visual proof that you have a current State issued ATV registration.
The State form must clearly show the following four things in the file you uploaded.

Check the four boxes below stating you have confirmed your images clearly show each of the four things needed before we can send your TAD.

Applications that do not show required information cannot be processed and may be held without refund or subject to additional adminstrative fees.

Submitting this form authorizes a credit card payment to VASA for all TAD (Trail Access Decal) fees. Submission will generate an email to the address listed containing a temporary trail pass. Following a review of the application and matching registration image, a copy of the application to carry with your machine will be emailed to the address listed and the TAD will be mailed to the address provided. If image provided does not clearly show name, address, plate number and is current ATV registration the permanent TAD (Trail access Decal) may be withheld without refund. If the application does not meet the required criteria the application is subject to administative fees to process and send TAD.
